Ahh cramps!

  1.  Ive had some pretty severe craMping and Im in my first trimester. I know cramping is common but should it be this bad? When I called the doctor they seemed to think it was no big deaL of there is no blood. Any thoughts or suggstions?

    • How far along are you?  cramping in the first 3-5 weeks is normal, after that you should just feel mild cramping with your uterus stretching.

    • Sometimes I feel a little more than just "mild cramping" and I'm 8 and a half weeks.  Like your doctor said, as long as there is no bleeding I'm sure you're fine.  Everyone's bodies and threshold for pain is different.  What I might describe as mild or medium, another might describe as insignificant or severe.
    • I've had mild cramps and I'm glad there's no blood! I'll be 8 weeks on the 5th. Excited and then the 11th is first ultrasound,, then I can really see and show that I'm pregnant! Stretching helps and exercise.

    • I'm having them non-stop, too! They started last Monday, which according to charting was probably my implantation day, and they haven't stopped! My lower pelvic region, thighs, and legs are absolutely killing me. The only relief was when I was floating in the pool on Saturday... too bad I can't be in there 24/7!

    • It wakes me up every night.  It is very unnerving but "normal"
