Help - DS is a wild man in the tub!

We have the Whale of a Tub and DS is having a bit too much fun during bath time now! He wants to kick and splash the entire bath. He gets this crazed look on his face and then goes wild! He gets his feet down on the bottom of the tub and pushes his butt up off the seat. It takes two of us to keep him in the tub and attempt to actually wash him. I guess this is what I get for encouraging him to "go splish splash!"

We tried taking the infant insert out, but he is not ready for that yet and just slides down in the tub. Any tricks for keeping LO somewhat still in the tub? Is there something I can buy? While this is totally cute and he is having a blast, it is getting REALLY hard to wash him and I'm nervous he's going to hurt himself.

We have this thing (https://www.amazon.com/Thermobaby-T2942W-Daphne-Infant-Bath/dp/B000VVRT6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1260794892&sr=8-1) that we use in the regular tub. Our little guy went through a wild man phase and this kept him up out of the water and let him go as crazy as he wanted. I think it would fit in a baby tub so you wouldn't be wasting so much water.

Thanks! I picked up a foam wedge thing at Target yesterday, but if that doesn't work I will be ordering one of these!
