So, I'm no beginner when it comes to seeing pregnant women - i've seen them all over my family and have seen their symptoms and helped them with their nausea ...etc. ..but NO ONE TOLD ME that my hair growth would be out of control....as I get out of the shower I take a glimpse of my round bump and notice lots and lots of....HAIR....ALL OVER MY STOMACH....especially my belly button ..i'm not sure if I should still use soap or switch over to shampoo and conditioner haha - it's so embarrassing and I feel like this hair growth happened over night - please please please tell me the hair disappears when baby is born ....or someone give me a solution

    Wish I had a solution!  My normally hairless stomach has sprouted hair allll around my belly button.  WTF!

    I really hope it does go away cause I've noticed it too on me.  I feel like it's hairy hairy peach fuzz with a mini happy trail.  My husband tells me it's hot.  I think not. :)

    Haha! Me too! There's a giant black line going down my tummy... DH said it looks like I have a cute little arrow pointing him where to go. 

    Where is Jersey are you?

    I have always had a bit of very blonde peach fuzz, but I have noticed that it is thicker and there is a little more hair on the "trail".  DH hasn't noticed though.  What I did notice when I finally trimmed all the hair "down there" is that it is WAY LONGER than it used to be!  jeez.  No wonder DH called me an Amazon!

    We're on the border of Middlesex and Monmouth. DH used to live in Springfield...we like it up there :)

    Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a hairy tummy.  Even longer hairs like to congregate near my belly button- I've been tearing those suckers out.  hehe.  The fuzz, however, has taken over.  ;)

    I've always had a "happy trail" of dark hair from my belly button to there.  My husband hasn't said anything about it ever.  I do think it has gotten a little darker, but not much.  I like of liked it.

     haha my hair "down there" is super long... I (embarrassingly) trimmed it the other day because it was so unruly and annoying!

    My belly button and "trail" are being taken over by nice thick black hair too. Looks awesome on my pasty pale irish skin. :) I pluck what I can.

    I had the same thing with DS and it went away save for a few stray hairs every now and then.

    This exactly...except pasty pale Norwegian skin haha.  I pluck every few days when the little sproutlets start but only the ones about 2-3 inches radiating from my belly button where it is the darkest/thickest.  The rest of my tummy hair is getting darker but isn't nearly as bad so I'll let it be.

    Welcome to my world :)  I've had hair on my belly even before I was PG...gotta love coming from a hairy Italian family. 

    I do notice it comes in faster then normal but I just use an electric razor b/c I hate it.  Luckily I'm not pale so it's not very noticable in the summer

    Wax it!!!  When I go in for my bikini wax, I have the woman wax the hairs on my belly.  I did this before I got pregnant, but now, I really have to do it!  Those hairs are out of control. 

     And I pluck the stray ones between waxes! :)

    Yep me too, DH was rubbing my tummy talking to LO and he looks up at me, and says I think you need to shave your belly. I was so embarrassed but couldn't help but laugh.
