I already have 5 and have been contemplating getting another one on my foot. I would love to have a butterfly to represent my angel babies along with the word Faith in pretty writing.
Do any of you have a tattoo on your foot and how bad did it hurt?

12/99 - Miscarriage at 12w - 6/08 - BFP - Miscarriage at 8w, 9/08 - BFP - Miscarriage at 8w2d, 12/08 - Found out I am a carrier of a Balanced Translocation between Chromosomes 8 & 16, 8/2010 - DE IVF = FAIL. 12/18/10 - Surprise BFP! Awaiting our Sticky Miracle! 12/20 - Beta #1-1208 * 12/27 Beta #2 - 6002 1/3/11 Beta #3 - 17,146. Beautiful little heart beating away! Stick little one, stick!
I have a quarter size hibiscus flower on my right foot. It didn't hurt too bad, it felt like a lot of little, fast pinches over a short period of time. My tattoo only has 2 colors (2 versions of pink) and not it's not solid, outline w/shadow outline, so I think that might have had something to do with ip and the bottle of wine I drank, lol.
The people I talked to before I got it told me not to b/c it hurts like hell, but I really do think it depends on the size, the detail and placement on the foot.
I hope I was some help. Good luck!

I've been looking for ideas, I found a "believe" one that i really like, so now I need to make up my mind.
I would love to see your tattoo. Do you have a picture of it?

I have 5 tattoos myself and i have one on my right foot. its a dragonfly and it didnt hurt at all. I was told that it was going to hurt real bad and i wasnt going to be able to walk but they were wrong it didnt hurt at all.
I don't have any tattoos or advice, but have been contemplating getting one more and more these days. I would love to have "This too shall pass" somewhere, but I just can't think of anywhere I would really like...
Anyway, I'm interested to hear what others say, and good luck with your decision!!

I could use the butterfly and have it sitting on the F in faith instead of using the word believe.. but I also like the word believe...
I would pick the tatt with the word believe, but faith is good too. Little tough decision.

I have a large one on the top of my foot. I got it about 9 years ago. It wasn't too bad at all. It hurt less than the one on my back, which is on my spine.?
Go for it! You'll be fine. The only thing I don't like about it is when I get dressed up with nice shoes, it always shows. Sometimes I wish I could cover it up a little better. ?
I don't have one on my foot...my ankle was the furthest down I got. I'm sure at some point I'll get one there though. I have two more tattoos that I've been thinking about for the last few years.
I like your idea for the new one. Let us know how it goes if you get it!
DX PCOS w/IR 01/08. Currently pg with our 1st after 6.5 yrs of IF (thank you IVF)
I love getting tattoos, I only have 2, but my DH and I always talk about getting another one! The one on my lower spine did hurt- IMO the fattier the area, the less painful
I have 2 cala lillies on my foot. It didnt hurt too terribly bad. Just an annoying feeling. its small -- took maybe 45 minutes. That sounds like a beautiful idea.
I have five butterflies starting on my foot and going up my leg representing loved ones who passed away. Everyone kept saying the foot would hurt, but it wasn't that bad. Honestly the only bad part was that my reflexes kept making me twitch and since the whole tattoo was so large it took so long my body got tired. I think you should go for it!

I have one on my toe. It's pretty small (like a toe ring), but it didn't hurt at all! The only draw back is that with feet/toes etc., your run the risk of the color fading more quickly. I actually had to sign a waiver saying that I understood that they couldn't guarantee the work like they had with my others.
But I have had it for over ten years now, and I think it still look alright.
