Waiting on a baby ...

So, 39 week appointment today and I was so sure that I'd have progress. But alas, I'm only 50% effaced and 1/2 cm dialated. Originally, I was going to be induced this Friday, but now I will have to wait until this baby comes out on his own, or they will induce on the 13th. Yes, Friday the 13th, which is also my mom's birthday.
Ideally, I would LOVE to go into labor on my own this week! I've been having contractions but clearly they aren't doing much. I'm just so ready to meet this baby already!
Thanks for letting me vent. This Leo baby is being stubborn just like his Leo mama ;-)

    Oh Allison. I'm sorry!!! I will keep sending you labor dust so that you go before the 13th but even if you do have him on Friday the 13th....his first birthday will be on a Saturday. :) And don't name him Jason.

    Sending major labor dust your way! I know it is frustrating but don't fret, this progression stuff isn't everything (that's what I am telling myself too). You can go into labor at any moment! And either way, you will be meeting your little one in 10 days or less! Keep us posted!
