Do you flush it?

The poo from your baby's diaper that is. I'm pretty sure you are supposed to wheter you use disposable or cloth.

Re: Do you flush it?

  • We use cloth so yes, we flush it.
  • Loading the player...
  • We use disposable, and I started flushing it about a month ago, when it became more solid.  It really helps the trash not stink so bad.

  • We use both and I've never flushed the sposie poop (oops).  The cloth... obviously, yes.  At least we mostly use cloth at home unless I'm behind on laundry so I'm not too terrible of an offender.

  • I've never even thought of flushing his poop (we use disposable). I understand why, and I might start doing it.

  • No, and I never thought to do so. We use disposable.

  • When I was switching to CD, I read somewhere that it is actually a law that you cannot dispose of human feces of any type in a regular garbage collection. Obviously, that's not really enforced because everyone just throws baby poop out in the sposies. I do too, lol. But, I did find it to be an interesting fact.
  • I use cloth, so always. DH refuses to use cloth, uses sposies, so never. But since I am home with LO he does all cloth during the week. Two days of non-flush isn't too bad. Asking DH to do that would not go over well. He has trouble with the stinky ones so to ask him to walk to the toilet is not going to happen.

  • no, his poo is still pretty soft so i don't even know how i'd get it all out...
  • Now that it's more solid I will be but we'll have to see if I can get DH to start.

  • No, but only because we have no idea when he poops and he usually mashes it all into his diaper and it would be impossible to get it all out.
