Georgia Babies

SAHMs, I bow down to you. Seriously.

Day #2 of my stint as a SAHM (internship ended, no new job lined up so far here in Charlotte, so no $$ for daycare) is halfway through, and I'm already ready to throw in the towel!  What/how do you manage this all day, every day, ESPECIALLY with more than one kid??!!?  DH wants #2 and I'm usually all for it, but when I think about it now I want to strangle myself!

  • Not a SAHM, but I'm thinking you need to give yourself a break here- you have had quite a week and you're not really settled yet.  Now, with that said, I also don't know how the SAHM's do it full time.  Part time, I could handle, but I'm not sure that I could play cruise director all the time.  Even Gavin is glad to get back to daycare on Monday mornings!

  • I dreamed my whole life of being a stay at home mom.. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! But.....................

he's only 3 months.. ask me when he is 2! =)

  • I miss adult interaction...uninterupted by DD.  Never thought it would be as hard as it is and I am SO ready for preschool...5 mornings a week!  BUT best job in the world, its so worth all of it.
  • I'm on week 6/7 of maternity leave and I totally bow down to SAHM's!  Ya'll really deserve a gold metal.  I think what's the toughest is the adult interaction.  I love sweet DS SO MUCH, but boy it's tough!
  • I needed to read that as a SAHM who is in Grad school Full-time.
