cysts suck

After my BFN, I got my period Saturday... sad but relieved to get on with the next stim+trigger+iui cycle.  Went in for CD2 blood work and ultrasound and they found two cysts (17 and 13mm).  They said that we need to sit out a cycle, but since I don't ovulate on my own they said to come back in two-three weeks to see if they are gone... booooooo.  With some travel we are doing, the next cycle might be pushed back to after Labor Day.  I know a few weeks is not the end of the world, but when you self-soothe after a BFN with the idea that at least you get to start new cycle right away... it kinda feels like kicking you when you are down.

This process sucks - I know I am preaching to the choir...  Thanks for letting me vent.

    I'm sorry.  I had a cyst on my cd2 b/w also right before I was to start my BCP for my IVF.  It was devastating, but the positive, take a break from TTC, and enjoy the down time.  It will give you a new sense about the whole thing.
    Diagnosis - MIF - FUIF!
    #1 12R, 7M, 5F - 2- 3dt BFN - 1 totsicle became our DD.
    TTC#2 since 1/12
    IVF #2 - 10R, 6M, 5F - 1 5dt of a morula= BFN none to freeze.
    IVF #3 (blegh) Long Lupron Protocol
    ER 8/23 12R, 7M, 2F - 2 beautiful 3d 8/26
    +HPT 9/3 beta #1 9/10= 78.5 #2 9/12 = 136 #3 9/14 319 #4 9/17 890 #5 9/21 2119
    Little B is where he needs to be. HB 9/24. no HB 10/3. Missed m/c @ 8w. D&C 10/5 :(

    ER - 17R, 14M, 9F - 1 beautiful blast 12/13 (Our anniversary), 3 more FROZEN!! WOO HOO!
    +HPT 12/17 beta #1 12/27 = 1654 (um hells to the yeah), beta #2 12/31 = 6994, 1st u/s= 1/8 (fingers firmly crossed) = HB 125. You rock little one.

    Waiting sucks no matter how short.  It is hard to sit still when you want nothing more than to move forward.  I hope the next couple weeks fly by!

    Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
    DH: perfect
    1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
    2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

    They saw a cyst today for me too, but I'm hoping the b/w says it's ok.  Sitting out cycles is the worst thing.  ((hugs))

    Do you ovulate at all on your own? My RE always puts me on birth control for my rest cycles to make sure the cysts go away.

    And yes, they do indeed suck.

    After 2 losses, IVF #2 brought us our little boys.

    yes they do suck majorly! I have them on both of my ovaries and in multiples. I hope everything goes well with the next cycle and you can vent anytime you want.
