Need opinions/insight please...

1. Anyone have any insight as to whether or not a generic "bellybandit" will do the same thing as the real thing? Or is the original Belly Bandit the best one? (if Kourtney used it, then I want it, just dont want to overspend).

2. I dont plan on using a bassinet. Is that weird? My nursery is literally a few steps from my bedroom and I think it is a waste of space.

I know nothing about the belly bandit.

A lot of people do not use a bassinet and put their baby in the crib from the first night home. There is nothing wrong with doing that.

i picked up the fisher price sleep and rock for a bassinet since they arent in it very long but if the nursery is that close then i think your good

and as far as the belly bandit il lkeep checking this post since i had the same questions

I can't speak for the Belly Bandit, but Kourtney also didn't eat enough and exhauseted herself with exercise until she dropped while jogging, so she probably got her shape back the wrong way.

I also don't plan on using a bassinet. I don't see the point. We're in a one floor, 2 bedroom condo. He's going to go straight in the crib in his room, or if that doesn't pan out, the pack and play in the living room, which is a little closer.

We're not using a bassinet. We bought a playpen that has the option of the shallow level on it. So we're going to have that in our bedroom for at least the first few nights. But we plan on putting LO in the crib as soon as possible.

I plan to use the FP Sleep n Play for a bassinet as well and if that doesn't work I'll try the crib, pack n play and swing.

1. I've never heard of it-but as others have said I have the same questions about post delivery bands. I'm going to have a C-section and am not sure what products are out there.

2. We have a bassinet but honestly we put our DS in his room the second night so it wasn't really necessary. I couldn't sleep at all and was up every time he made a sound. Everyone is different, but having DS in his own room worked out for us.

1. I have no idea what a Belly Bandit is and I could give a sh!t less if "Kourtney" used it or any other product for that matter. I'm assuming you mean Kardashian. Can you hear my eyes rolling? 2. It's not weird if you use a bassinet or don't use a bassinet. It's your decision. No one can make that for you.

im sure the belly bandit and the generic work the same. all is it is a corset with velcro on the ends to hold it together... But if you insist, you can pay the extra $10 for the limited edition Kourtney Kardasian belly bandit...

are you also going to get the Orbit Stroller Set she has? For a mere $900 it comes with a bassinet too you know.

Well about Kourtney, make all the jokes you want, she looks amazing and I noticed on the Belly Bandit site that she promotes it.

Regarding the bassinet questions, I specifically meant are there any safety hazards that I should be aware of with placing a newborn in a crib...I have done my research and haven't found anything correlating this but a few friends have mentioned it may not be safe.

don't put the blanket over the baby's face and you should be alright.
