How Often?

How often do you take DC to the potty if they're not consistent in telling you?  Did you start at 20min and just go longer if they were still dry?

    We started with every 30-60 min, for the first week and slowly increased the time when he started telling us he had to go in the 2nd week.  If he hadn't mentioned it in a an hour or two we would just take him.  Sometimes he would get caught up in what he was doing and forget.  He can go for 3hr stretches now...we are about 2.5 months in.

    When we first started I would take her about every 30-45 minutes.  If she didn't go, I would wait another 15-20 minutes and try again.  As the days went we just kept going longer and longer spans until she was finally telling us when she had to go.  Sometimes I still remind her.
