Speaking of. I was at the store the other day getting into my car. This family of four came out right after me (mom, dad, 4ish year old and a baby). They put the 4ish year old his carseat in the back, but the mom and baby got into the back next to him w/o a carseat. She was just holding him in her lap. The dad drove. They had a station wagon sort of car and the back windows were tinted so that you couldn't see in. It was soo strange to me.
DH's cousin didn't put their youngest baby in a car seat. Their logic was that she cried if she was in the seat and home wasn't that far away (20 minutes). I was floored.
Re: OK, I must know
A carseat. I'm guessing someone went somewhere without putting their child in a carseat.
