UGH. My Stupid Sister. Vent.

So, I know I am being a PW, but the board is sooooo slow. I thought I'd provide you with a little juicy drama.

I have a 17 year old sister as many of you know who I have referred to in previous posts as a "slore". She totally is. 

She is dating a 25 year old man, that's right, 25. My mom had a dream that she was spitting her birth control out in the sink and so my mom went upstairs and pulled the drain out, there were MULTIPLE pills in there. So, she is trying to rope this loser of a man in by getting pregnant. She is a hussy. I am so over her.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    That is crazy! Why is she putting them in the sink though, instead of just not taking them?

    I hate when I hear someone that age is taking birth control to begin with, I know it's better than getting pregnant, but the fact that they need it disturbs me.

    I know! She always says things like " I want to be a young mom" blah blah blah. I have tried for so long to tell her that she needs to get an education, make something of herself and find the right person. She doesn't care. I don't think she's PG, I'm actually almost sure of it. Now my mom gives her the pill, watches her swallow it, and checks her mouth. Really?

    DH: 38, Balanced translocation 5&10, unexplained MFI, normal SA and SCSA
    Tx History: IUI 1&2= BFN
    IVF# 1 W/ICSI= BFN
    IVF# 2: cancelled d/t no response
    IVF# 3= 1 egg retrieved=immature/not viable
    IVF# 4= c/p
    ***CCRM ODWU***
    Found DHs BT and Me-decreased blood flow to uterus
    Recommended DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. Decided to cycle locally
    ***New RE***
    DE IVF# 1(cycle #6) w/pgd, (freeze all): 30R, 23M, 15F, slow/poor embryo development, 4 biopsied, 1 Normal "Norm"; DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. 
    IVF# 6: (OE/DS) cancelled
    IVF# 7: (OE/DS) 1R, 1M, 1F, arrested day 5
    Plan-DE IVF# 2 (cycle #8): DE/DS in May 2015

    Tell your mom to make sure she is not hiding it under her tongue as well.

    Oh I agree. I know this whole thing makes my family sound trashy, we aren't I promise :). My parents raised all of us with strong values and my sister missed that lesson. She got put on BCP because my parents found out she was sneaking out at 15 and having sex. She would undo the alarm at night and sneak out.

    Maybe your mom should put your sister on the birth control shot.  Then she knows that she is protected for a little while at least.

    Wow! I'm sorry -- i'm sure her immaturity gets to you after a while.  I hope she realizes what she's doing before it's too late.  Getting pregnant on the sly will probably not yield her the results she is hoping for.... Hmm

    Oh no, I don't think that at all! No reflection on your family, just a reflection on a lot of teenagers in general now.  Kudos to your mom for doing what she can to try and prevent a bad situation. I have a younger brother who is also 17 and with how he is acting now and the things he is doing, you would wonder how my mom raised us...she couldn't have done anything better in raising us but he just doesn't get that actions have consequences and that he's only 17. Teenagers drive me crazy!
