What games do you play with LO

So, I'm looking for ideas.  Ophelia and I do tons of stuff but ideas are so much fun to hear about.....

Tell me about one of your favorite things to do AT HOME with your LO :-}}

 

Mine is so simple.  I sit in the floor and let her climb me.  She is so tickled by getting herself upright that I'm just totally digging her getting there!  I also enjoy laying side-by-side with her while reading a book to her.  I always have 4 books so we can rotate through because she wants to chew whatever I'm reading ;) so I give it up and move on to the next one.

    I made puppets and he loves when I sing with them to him. We do peek a boo, "How big is baby", the color ring toy, "where's daddy", lots of singing and dancing..

    We play chess, stratego and monopoly. 

    LOL.  Just kidding.

    We play Peek-A-Boo and I also play a game where I eat his fingers and he LOVES it.  He can't get enough of it.

    peek-a-boo, eating feet and fingers, knocking over tower of cups, pretend horn in cup and all time favorite - climb the dog!

    we play peek a boo...we play hide and seek with Daddy, pat a cake, we "wrestle" with her, I crawl after her like I am chasing her and super baby

    My mom got her this huge blanket with family pictures printed on it, so we lie on the blanket and I'll ask her "Where's Grandpa?", "Where's Uncle Matt?" etc. and she'll look at the faces and touch them.

    We play:

    Peek-A-Boo

    Read books (I give her a book to chew on while I read one)

    Crawl around on the floor with her

    Play with her big soft blocks on the floor. I stack them up, she knocks them down.

    We also play catch a cat by the tail......Willow and Oliver ( our cats) are not amused by this game.  Willow gives us both the stink eye and Oliver goes and hides under the bed. I try really hard to teach DD how to pet the cats without hurting them, but she just hasn't grasped the concept yet.

    We play lots of peek-a-boo.  Her favorite thing to do is if i crawl she likes following me.  So I crawl all over our house and she tries to cath me.

    Peek A Boo- usually while I"m cooking dinner and he's in the exersaucer- I hide behind the island in the kitchen and peer at him from different sides. He loves it- and so do I. :)

    Itsy Bitsy Spider- he loves that. Usually while I'm changing his diaper. Wheels on the Bus- he thinks thats funny. I tickle him and kiss his neck a lot- he laughs when we do that.

    Such a fun age right now!

    I do this too! I also "eat" his feet, and legs...and he loves it!

    Peek-a-boo, color rings, and we roll a ball back and forth.  A lot.  He loves that freakin' ball!

    DS loves patty cake where I move his hands together, I also play hide and seek with a toy that squeaks, and we also play with the kittys (well learning how to pet them).
