I can't think of what to get DS for his 1st bday! I would like for it to be something he doesn't have to wait to use (he's too little for a tricycle or something like that).
What are some good baby boy gift ideas???
Re: Need ideas for 1st bday gift for DS
We went backwards and forths towards what to get DS. We spent a lot of time in ToysrUs. Haha.
I just wanted to share with you one of the gifts we got DS because while we know he will play with it alot in the next coming months when his skills develop more and more, I just wanted to let you know he LOVE'S it now!
He gets blocks everywhere in our house though! But he will get behind this truck and scoot it all over the place! He adores it.
I hope this gives you some idea's. Good luck.
Also, it's pretty big in size. The picture's don't really show that. Go check it out at TRU.
Here it is.
We are getting Lilly a PBK anywhere chair...she will be able to use it for many years.
And also a Zany Zoo Activity Cube.
I know you don't want a tricycle, but we got our son this:

It has a 5 poing harness and a bar so he doesn't lean over. DS loves it.
Otherwise my family got him this (which he also loves as he can't sit inside of this too or put his toys in it):

Hope this helps.
We're getting this, too. I pulled it out at Target the other day and he wouldn't let go! lol
My first haircut!

This is what we have gotten for DS for his b-day on the 9th. We have an actual St. Bernard and he loves rocking horses (grandparents have one at there house) so it was an easy gift for us to decide on. The website a-rocking-horse-to-love.com has some really cute stuff.
I'm not offended. But we've given her a toy for every month-day. And trust me...she has FUN stuff. Why not get her something SPECIAL and a keep sake instead of another plastic toy she'll play with for a couple of months. Our house is filled with toys, we just looked at this as a good opportunity to give her something that means something and will matter for more than a few months-a year.
Oh and she's getting some small toys and a doll from us as well, but they weren't as big of a deal as her blanket...next time I'll list everything. ;-)
I agree. It's a cute blanket but not really First Birthday Gift worthy, IMO. Lameeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
