They kind of annoy me when they are ONLY for expectant mothers, and not for mothers with small children. I know they are just a courtesy, but I could use the shorter walk NOW rather than when I was pregnant.
I've only known of 2 places that have that (and none are around me), but I totally understand. I probably could have used the extra steps when I was pregnant versus trying to handle a LO down an entire parking lot

I've actually seen some places that say expectant mother or mothers with small children parking. I think they're all kind of pointless anyway. The whole mall and there is usually only 2-4 spots and 95% of the time they're taken.
Ha! I was just thinking the same thing the other day. But I also try to remember that when my sister was prego she was on bedrest...she cheated sometimes and went out shopping and those spots were good for her.
Ours are for expectant mothers and new mothers. I don't see a need for me to use them now, when he was a newborn or when I was pregnant. I save them for someone would needs them.
I only have one place in town that offers them, and yes, I use them. They are for "expectant and new mothers". I figure I'm double qualified. But I only use them when I'm out without DH (with DD).
It annoys me so badly when I see someone who is clearly NOT pregnant (i.e. a man, a woman who isn't old or handicapped, but clearly too old to be pregnant, etc) using them. But really, I suppose I could use regular spots, too.
The only place around here that has that is babies r us... and since there is about 20 spaces, yes I usually do... how do they know im not expecting? lol
Re: Do you park in expectant mother parking spots?
If I was driving, no, but if DH was driving he always would! ITA, I didn't need a short walk then, I need one now.
ETA: BRU is the only place I've seen one around here.
