I totally understand. I moved in with DH and it was a ridiculous bachelor pad or, as our best man referred to it as in his wedding speech "a pizza box recycling plant". DH never wants to part with stuff and it's just junk. I've managed to sneak pretty much everything either to the basement, the Goodwill, or yard sales over the last couple years but it really sucked.
Good luck on getting a condo. That would be great!

i'm terrible with parting with stuff. i want it for when we move. i have SOOOOOOOOOOo much craft stuff that i just can't use because there's no room. i have 2 tubs in the storage closet off the deck, and i think 4 or 5 in the coat closet. i should really move more into the storage shed, but there's a lack of room out there too.

No joke, I feel like that all the time and I watch "Clean House" with Niecy Nash and after an episode or two I always get a huge wave of motivation LOL. I get rid of all my stuff and it's painful but I force myself. And I put it all in one place for a yard sale.
You have to think of your house in tiny sections. I had a hard time being motivated to clean stuff because I'd look around and it was so overwhelming. Don't clean one room at a time, clean a bookshelf or a set of drawers at a time. Then it doesn't seem so bad. I completely understand, it's really hard feeling uncomfortable in your own home

This is exactly why we had to move to a 2 bedroom apartment. No matter how I rearranged stuff it never looked clean and organized. We are still unpacking our stuff but even now it looks better.
Re: sometimes i feel like i'm living in a dorm room.
i live in a 550 sq ft one bedroom, one bath apartment.
we just have to much stuff.
and to be completly honest i'm a little to embarrased to post pics.
