Naming my 6 day old baby boy.

Seriously, this is ridiculous! DH had decided on a name right before baby was born, but I was on the fence about it. We've spent the last week trying to figure out what name fits him better, but I'm way too indecisive! I've posted multiple times on this board, but seriously cannot make up my mind. Today is the day. I HAVE to name this kid!

Our other kids are Jentry, Mason, and Drew. This one will either be Jacob or Ty.

Jacob - DH's pick. I like the name, and we'll call him Jake. However, it's freaking popular and Twilight-y.

Ty - My pick, but I don't like any of the Ty names and DH thinks it needs to be Tyler in order to work with the middle name. I'm fine with naming him Tyler and calling him Ty, since Drew is actually named Andrew, so this is nothing new to us. Also, naming him this would give all the kids different starting initials, which I like.

In your opinions, which one goes better with the other kids names? What input does everyone have? My family is all split with their preferences and also keeps throwing new names in there, so it's not really helping me make a decision. I've alternated names to call him, so I'm attached to both of them now and think either one would work.

I say Ty. I think Jake and Jentry sounds a little too similar for me.

I'm not a huge fan of Ty, but it definitely goes better with your other kids' names. Tyler Jacob is nice.

Just Ty is NMS, but Tyler is a great name. Jacob is nice, too. Either will fit with the other kids and in the long journey of life only in a very small part will how the 4 sound together even be a thought. Since both names are workable, could you do something fun like have you, DH, and the kids put it to a vote?
