I have DD's dr. appt this afternoon. I've heard about giving a little Tylenol about a half hour before to help with the shots. Did anyone do this? I don't think I did with DD1's 2 month but maybe her 4 month. She never was really bothered too badly by them though so I never really gave her much after that.
Re: Did you give Tylenol before LO's 2 month shots?
No.

I didn't give it to her before b/c I didn't know how she'd react. Immediately after she was fine and went down for a super long nap. After that though, she was really fussy and uncomfortable. You could tell her legs were sore. We gave her Tylenol after that.
**We also split up her vaccines. That day she only got the Hib and pneumococcal. I think the Hib is what made her leg sore. The next week she got the DTaP, Hep B, and polio, and she was completely fine after that, no Tylenol needed.**
