Both of my girls started in our room in the PNP. Dd1 I moved to her crib at one month. I still have DD2 in our room and she will be 2 months in about a week. They will be sharing a room so I don't want one waking the other. DD STTN but I still love having her so close to me. I'm curious where others are at?
Re: When did you/are you moving LO out of your room?
I was adamantly against having DD in our room, but her bedroom was SO hot and we have A/C in ours, so we put her in the PNP (in the newborn napper) starting on like day 3 or 4. It's really nice having her right next to me (I even moved the glider into our room so I can nurse her in a cool room at night, too).
I think once it cools off a bit more outside and her room is back in the 70's, I'll move her back. We have a bed set up in there, too, so I might sleep in there to transition myself to the new set up. She's napped in her crib a couple times during the day, so she should be ok to transition (I hope!)
DD still sleeps in our room. She hated her PnP by 2 weeks and we've been co-sleeping since then.. I dont see it changing soon but we're aiming by 4 months to get her into her crib.. Though I'm not sure *I* could deal with that

We're kind of like this as well. I had ds in his RNP sleeper and he'd sleep about 10hrs in one shot. I just started putting him in his crib this past week (11 weeks old) and he's sleeping sporadically. I can usually get him to sleep for 8 hours and then sometimes for another 3hrs after he eats but I put him in his RNP for those last 3 hours. I am tempted to put him back in his rnp again due to him sleeping better, but I know I need to get him in his crib at some point so might as well do it now.
