PCOS Specialist?

Ok ladies, I'm more of a lurker than a poster on this board, since FI and I are not going to start TTC until next year, but I thought someone might be able to help.

My FSIL got diagnosed with PCOS recently and is TTC, and she was wondering if anyone knew of a specialist, or just an all around good OBGYN that anyone would rec.

Not an OB, but I recommend a good RE. I have PCOS and did IVF to have my 2 beautiful little girls.

Myself and many others see Dr. Mattingly, he is a family doctor who specializes in PCOS. A lot of times RE's are not covered under insurance so he can help in many ways before needing an RE. He is my dr and I also have PCOS and worked with him to get pregnant with DS and then got pregnant easily with DD which was amazing. I am a rare case but have been confirmed to have PCOS with bloodwork and u/s. Good luck!

I second Mattingly! I've been working with him since 2006 and have nothing but good things to say about him. I was put on Metformin in jan 2006 and was able to conceive DS with no trouble in jan 2007. Now I am working with him in order to conceive #2. His office is in Monfort Heights on Cheviot rd. He is with GCAP.

Thanks for all of the great info ladies, I appreciate it and will pass it all along to FSIL! I have heard of Dr. Mattingly, I see Dr. Lenz in the same office.
