I have a VERY BAD association with that name, as a last name. *shivers* However, trying to distance myself from that... I think it could be cute unisex.

I know a girl named Sutton, and it fits her perfectly, but for her it is a family name.
I think it's one of those names that needs to be a family name to work. Otherwise, it's just too wannabe-pretentious, like it's trying to "sound rich."

I've only heard it for a boy. It's just okay to me.
I don't like it for a girl at all.

It's just OK to me. It could be unisex but I also associate it with a girl because of the Broadway actress. IMHO, it feels like it's trying too hard.

Love Sutton Foster! I see it as a girls name because I've heard it on her.
