We're having a hard time baby wearing because of Ryan's helmet. Because he's so big now (he weighs around 21 lbs), our mei tai works best for us. But no matter what he seems uncomfortable because he can't rest his head on my chest. The helmet makes his head too big to fit under my chin. I can't really wear him any lower, I'm only 5'2 and short waisted.
Any tips?
Re: Any babywearing helmet mom?
Have you tried a back carry with your mei tai? That would solve your under the chin problem and might be more comfy for him as well as he can look around more easily without needing to rest his head.
