What did you ladies register for in terms of strollers? I was thinking of doing a Chico Travel System and some sort of jogging stroller. Did you register for multiple strollers? And if you are looking into a jogging stroller....which one? Thanks :O)
I got the Chicco Key Fit 30 travel system in Midori (new apple green color). It is not on my registry because my parents bought it for us (YAY mom and dad). We also registered for the Jeep Overland Jogging Stroller. It is something that my husband really wants, so I'm hoping that someone in his family will get us. Both of us run a lot - I did my 1st whole marathon last year and he completed his first 1/2 marathon this year - so I'm hoping we get it because it would be great for both of us.
I have one of the travel system strollers, that you can pop the car seat right in, and then when the LO gets older they can just ride in it without the car seat. I forget what brand but I love it! And we used it for years. So convienient to just put the car seat in it and go. And it folds and fits in your trunk.
A good friend of mine has a Jeep jogging stroller and she loves it, she runs almost every day with it. It is also set up to put an MP3 player in it so you can listen to your music while you jog.
somebody asked about this yesterday.. if you scroll down a bit there's another post titled "strollers" and there are some helpful responses! check it out

I am getting the Peg Perego switch...you can switch the baby back and forth to face you or face out. It's a gift from MIL...otherwise we could not afford that brand!
My parents are buying us the UppaBaby Vista - its super expensive so if it wasn't for them this would NOT be the stroller we would be getting. I am getting the infant seat adapter (registered for that) for it. We are still researching an umbrella stroller.

We registered for the Bumbleride Flyer and the Maclaren Quest. One is full-size and the other is a light weight. After talking with my SIL and a couple of other friends who have 3-5 year olds it was recommended that I go this route.
We just got the Flyer in the mail on Friday and it is incredible. A little bigger/taller than I expected, but still has so many options and is perfect or both me and my husband.
This is the Quest that we registered for -

I bought the Bugaboo frog. I live in the city and wanted a good stroller for walking the city streets. I also got the car seat adapter so in the beginning I will just snap the carseat on the base. I'm also thinking about registering for a Mclaren umbrella stroller, just not sure which one and if I will definitely do it.

I bought the bugaboo frog when they were on totsy for a steal so I registered for the car seat adaptor and accessories and also a Maclaren umbrella stroller.
Everyone I know who has a bigger stroller system stops using them in favor for an umbrella around 6-8 months in so I think it's a good idea to at least start thinking about the different strollers that will work with your lifestyle.
My mom bought us the Uppababy stroller, but I registered for the Joovy Zoom 360 as a jogging stoller. My Dh actually wanted the BOB but I can't justify spending all that money on a jogging stoller. He will probably buy it anyway knowing him.

Same here- going with the UppaBaby Vista with the car seat adapter and then a MacLaren umbrella stroller.
For now, I just registered for the Trend Baby (or whatever it's called) stroller frame and just using the infant car seat. Our neighbor has an unused jogging stroller that we'll buy from them (they got it as a gift and they don't even jog!). But when Kamikaze outgrows his car seat, we'll get 1-2 more strollers.

if you research about the Chicco key fit 30 travel system, if you have a large baby, they grow out of the stroller FAST because of the shoulder pads. we are going to have a huge baby and that concerned us. so we are taking the key fit car seat and using it with the umbrella stroller from Chicco. it still locks and works as a travel system... but this way we are getting WAY more use out of the stroller!..
We're getting the Bob Revolution and the Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat. I just tested out this combination last weekend and it is very secure. The Bob actually feels a lot lighter than the travel system
I fell in LOVE with the Baby Jogger City Mini this weekend. Turns on a dime, super light-weight, reclines pretty much flat, harness is highly adjustable, huge canopy with clear window instead of mesh, and the fold is amazing. You pull a hand strap located on the bottom of the seat and it folds in half. My jaw dropped when the girl showed me how it folded. It's definitely the front-runner for us right now. And it's not as heavy as traditional joggers - it's less than 17 pounds.
I'm not a jogger and that's not the reasoning behind getting it. I love the manueverability of the 3 wheels and how it is so much easier to use than a travel system.
Right now, we plan to get the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 carseat and use a universal adapter with the City Mini.
I also want to test out the Peg Perego Vela. It's incredibly lightweight - only 9 pounds, but has a child tray, basket and cup-holder.
Graco SnugRide 35 in Laguna Bay with matching stroller that the car seat can just clip into. Not an official "travel system" but it'll totally get the job done.
We also have a BabyJogger as a hand-me-down. I think we'll probably use that a lot on walks this spring with the dogs.
I registered for the Baby Jogger City Mini. It got really good reviews on Amazon and BRU, it was ranked highly on Baby Bargains, and it seems a lot of moms on the Nurseries & Baby Gear board have it. DH and I tested it out at BRU and I'm in love with it. It's got an incredibly easy fold. You just lift a strap on it and it folds up. It's lightweight, which I need because I'm a weakling. It's easy to push around. And it's not too expensive (about $230ish).
I was going to get a car seat adaptor with it to use it with an infant seat, but then my cousin offered me her Baby Trend Snap n Go. So I'll use the Snap n Go + infant seat for the first few months, then use the BJ City Mini.

We originally tested out the Chicco Keyfit travel system, but it is crazy bulky compared to the City Mini.
Hi AndysGrl08,
Thank you for choosing the Flyer!
Enjoy!
