The funny thing is he felt so uncomfortable that he waited until they were gone - his friend texted him it was over. He's expressed his dislike of strippers before and when I asked why he said, "That's someone's wife or mother for all I know" .... I thought all men liked strippers. What about your DH? You?

My DH doesn't like them either...he always says "I wonder what has happened in their life to make them resort to that.." Thats not to say he has never been, but he doesn't like it.

My DH went to a bachelor party last weekend that included a trip to a strip club. He and several of the guys ended up staying long after the bachelor had left for the night!! DH came home with lots of stories about the girls that he had talked to - he likes to learn about the "business" - where the girls like to work, where they don't, where they've traveled to, etc. But he has the same kinds of conversations with everyone he meets - taxi cab drivers, doctors, coworkers, etc. So it's no big deal.

I don't have a problem with DH going to strip clubs - he's allowed to look, just not touch. We have a saying: we're married, not dead. Meaning, we're allowed to look, but we're committed to each other. I trust DH entirely and am not concerned who he looks at. I've been to strip clubs with him, so I'm pretty comfortable that he's not getting more out of it than I think. And it's not like he frequents them!

DH is a club DJ on the side so the majority of club owners give rewards such as buying booths at strip clubs, bringing dancers to the clubs to fill out the stage, etc,,,

I have no problem with it as I am not or ever will be a baby-sitter.

MH probably enjoys them, but would never admit it to me.

Also, he doesn't partake in strippers. At the last bachelor party he went to he sat in a pub across the street from the strip club until it was over and they decided to move to the next bar.

I know before we were together my DH worked down the street from a strip club & would go with the guys. He obviously has been to bachelor parties etc with them, but since we've been together he hasn't. I am not going to lie I was nervous about strippers for his bachelor party but he just went to bars with friends. He doesnt seem to be interested in any of that any longer.

My DH isn't into strippers lots, but if it's for a party or something I could see him going. I don't mind, I have full trust in him and I don't need to worry at all. We used to watch porn once in a while together, spiced things up some but I got boudoir photos for him as a wedding gift and now that's all he wants to look at if I'm not around Stick out tongue

Last night we were at a party and a Red Hot Chili Peppers song was on, and he goes "I got a lap dance to this song." - He was 18 and he said it was so awkward because the woman looked so sad the whole time. That was the first and last time he ever went.

In my (cynical) experience, a lot of guys lie about their true feelings about strip clubs -- or whether they really sat across the street during the festivities. Then again, my seemingly upstanding DH lied through his teeth about his bachelor party, so I'm a little jaded. But I will never be that gullible again (and for his part, he now really HAS skipped his last friend's bachelor party because he had a lot of trust-building to do.)

Nechie I was thinking this as I read all the replies. I was laughing with my husband that sooo many husbands seem to not enjoy them. Made him LOL! My husband likes strip clubs, although he doesn't get to go that often, and porn. I'm also a big fan of (female) strip clubs and porn. Don't really like the male strippers....
