Starting to get scared.

I just had this weird clear fluid come out of me. I'm so early...it can't be regular amniotic fluid, can it?

Why can't I just start bleeding? I've accepted that the baby has passed; but now I am so scared of the bleeding and what exactly is going to come out of me. My last miscarriage was a chemical pregnancy, so there was no sac. What will it look like?

my first m/c was at 9w4d and i saw what came out...the night i started bleeding heavily i went to the bathroom to pee and felt something come out. it was the baby, it was gray and about the size of a quarter. 2 weeks later i was changing my clothes when i felt something else come out, it was a mass of tissue about the same size with what looked like a string hanging from it. I am telling you my experience so you can know what you might see and mentally prepare yourself- if that's even possible. I am so sorry you are going through this.

I did have a small amount of clear fluid come out of me before I started passing tissue. I assumed it was amniotic fluid.

If it was, in fact, the amniotic fluid, I imagine your bleeding will start soon. Most of the tissue I passed was dark red (like period blood) but I also passed the sac and some grayish tissue that I imagine was the placenta.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had a D&C but it was 5 days after we learned the baby had no heartbeat, so I know the fear of walking around and not knowing what is happening. I hope it resolves itself quickly for you.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I started spotting then bleeding heavily I then passed the tissue and countinued to bleed. I bleed for a total of 12 days during the miscarriage. I then went 14 days with no bleeding. I then started bleeding again that lasted 10 days and my doctor said this was my AF. I hope this information helps. Sorry you have to join this board.

I didn't have any clear fluid (that I remember) before I started to m/c. All I remember was the light spotting that preceded it. I hope it all passes very soon.

You'll see quite a few clots & some large clots pass. You'll see an odd colored thing w/a lot of blood surrounding it as the baby & the sac pass they are pretty decently sized, but pass easily. In my experiences that part didn't actually hurt as it came out, your cervix is dilated enough for it to come out easily. It's the cramping & contractions to get to that point that are painful.
