EBF - How will I know if LO has food allergies like DH?

My husband is allergic to some nuts, seeds and fish to the point his throat swells and he needs an epi pen and hospital visit. I am EBF, have no food allergies myself and concerned whether LO will have an allergic reaction if I eat or touch the foods DH is allergic to. I'm going to ask Monday at her 2 mo visit...but wanted to know if anyone has run into this yet.

    giving anything other than BM before 6 mo minimum contributes a lot to food allergies.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
