I've heard this name before and I'm not sure if I like it or not....

It was a little girl that had this name but I think it could be unisex.

I absolutely love it for a girl. I had a student named Sutton, and she was so sweet. I've loved the name ever since. DH vetoed it

I have a VERY BAD association with that name, as a last name. *shivers* However, trying to distance myself from that... I think it could be cute unisex.

It makes me think of Sutter Home wine. Also," Sutton Pierce" is what Britney Spears was rumoured to have wanted to name her second son.

I actually love it for a girl. There is a Broadway actress my age from my hometown named Sutton Foster and I've always liked it.

It's just OK to me. It could be unisex but I also associate it with a girl because of the Broadway actress. IMHO, it feels like it's trying too hard.

I think it's one of those names that needs to be a family name to work. Otherwise, it's just too wannabe-pretentious, like it's trying to "sound rich."
