Help me figure this one out.

If I wanted to have a baby by Feb March or April 2011, when would I have to get pregnant by? I also have NO idea when I'm fertile - go period 7/29/10 and I'm irregular but getting it monthly for the past year - my last period was 6/21/10.

QuestioN#2 - How long do most women take for maternity leave????

Hi. You're past conception for February or March 2011 but if you concieved this month you could make April. Your maternity leave would depend on your employer. All my mat leaves have been twelve weeks. Good luck!

Please buy and read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility - it will teach you how your body works. Most women do not ovulate on day 14 of their cycles, especially if your cycles are longer than 28 days. You can also learn how to chart your cycles using that book. Another resource to help you chart your cycles is: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/ They have online tutorials to teach you how to use their software and chart your cycle.

As pp said - you are past the time of getting pregnant and being due in Feb or March and April appears to be out as well. When you get pregnant you count forward 40 weeks starting with exactly 2 weeks before your ovualtion date. Since you don't know when that time is for you, you would need to use the start date of your last period. If that was, in fact July 29th, the earliest you could possibly be due at this point looks to be May 5th. Again, this will depend on what day you actually ovulate in your cycle.

As far as maternity leave - everyone takes a different amount of time depending on where they work and their financial situation. Some people take as little as 6 weeks, some people take a year or longer.

To have a girl - I can not say what would or would not work - it's really a 50/50 chance. I don't know about this board, but on most TTC boards this question is not well received. Many women have been trying for quite some time to have a baby. Many are also taking extreme measures to make that a reality. They just want a healthy, take-home baby - no matter whether it's a boy or a girl. You may want to look that one up on google.

uummm...this exactly!!! Usually we don't see these types of posts/people on this board...but I have noticed a couple here and there and boy are they ever annoying and it really does take all I have NOT to bash them. LOL!

You guys are being nice...this one got me heated...and I usually ignore. This would have been better posted on TTGP...or NTTB...seriously I think my patience for this type of post is getting really short!
