Hurry up and tell me about Precious

I am starting to watch it right now with my (uber-religious and very conservative) parents.  I told them it would make them very uncomfortable.  Should I be scared?

    I haven't watched it, but I've been told there's a rather horrendous incestuous rape scene.

    Hence why I haven't watched it.

    Batman likes to watch cartoons on the weekends. Whatever.

    There's one part where she flashes back to getting raped that is pretty hard to watch. Other than that, her mom is pretty crude throughout, but nothing else terribly bad. 
    It really was a good movie, and the rough parts had to be in it to make it that way- I think they'll appreciate the story (unless they're like Dugger conservative)

    We got through the rape scene and about 3500 'fvcks' so far.  They say they are okay so far.

    the language doesn't lighten up much, but if they got through that scene it's definitely the worst of the movie so you're good!
