Oh god...thoughts and prayers please

DH was spending the day at my parents' house with Nora and Miles today while I worked when Nora started freaking out, saying she couldn't breathe and was having chest pains.

She's currently hooked up to everything under the sun at the hospital and they're running tests, but early diagnosis is a heart arythmia known as Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.

Please keep her and us in your thoughts and prayers. I'm very scared.

I'm so sorry. I'm a heart defect mommy too. It's terrible to see your child hooked up monitors and machines. The good news is that they may be able to do something about it and that it was caught early. Please keep us updated as to how she is doing. Hopefully the ECG will catch it. Are they talking about doing genetic testing to be sure?

Hugs. That is scary. I hope they figure it out soon. My nephew was born with a broken heart, Tetrology of Fallot. He is the bees knees now. You would never know his pump is a patch work quilt. Pediatric Cardiologist are my heroes.

I hope all goes well with Nora. Ironically, I met a little one this past week with WPWS for the 1st time in my 11 years of being an OT. She is doing fine with it. I hope all is fine and your family catches a freaking break already! ((((HUGS))))
