Adoption agencys in metro detroit area

Hello!  I am just starting to look into our options for adoption, if anyone has any recommendations or advise for agencies in south eastern Michigan I would greatly appreciate it.

    My brother and SIL adopted 2 children,  the agency they used was Bethany Christian Services.  They went to the Madison Heights office.  They were very satisfied both times with the agency.

    I also recommend Adoption Associates, my sister is currently working with them (her & my brother-in-law are looking to adopt).

    We are going through Catholic Social Services and I can't say enough wonderful things about them.  My friends went through AA less than 2 years ago and did not have a good experience with them which is why we did not go with them.

    Our good friends went through adoption associates, and I felt that they were always leading them on.  After 2 failed adoptions they finally were chosen by a birth mother that went through with it. They still had to pay for the 2 failed adoptions before they would finalized the adoption that went through.  $40, 000.00 later they are now proud parents.  It was so hard to watch them go through the roller coaster of emotions.  I felt like the adoption associates were not that concerned with their feelings only the money.  It all worked out thank god, but they are now in debt and it just isn't fair!
