What's the going rate for a babysitter?

My cousin is going to babysit Luke tomorrow night and I'd like to offer to pay her.  I'm not sure if she'll take it but she's a broke college student so I'm going to try.  :)  It will be for about 4 1/2 hours or so.

    We pay $10 an hour if she has 1 kid. (our sitter's just out of college & saving for her wedding) She only asked for $8 an hour, but we feel like she deserves more.

    I've heard you pay what they are worth in the market.

    So, a kid in HS with a driver's lisence = minimum wage

    prices goes up from there

    we pay our college sitter $10/hr

    we pay our nanny $12, but that's b/c she's our nanny
