New and Hopefully KU

Hi, y'all!

I've been posting on the Knot and the Nest for a good long while now, but I think it's time to move over this way. DH and I have been together for almost 7 1/2 years and married since May 2009; last year we moved from DC back to our home state, bought a house, adopted two kickass cats, and decided to start a family.

What pushed the shift from the Nest was POAS this morning and coming up with a faint positive. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and taking another one in the morning, then making an appointment with my OB/GYN if it comes up positive, too.

So that puts me in 1st Trimester, do not pass go, do not spend any time in trying to conceive (on here). I'm also hoping to spend some time in Working Moms -- I work full-time now and am the main breadwinner, and I'll continue to work after having a baby. We're not sure whether DH will continue to work and we'll use a daycare or maybe he'll shift to part-time and primarily be a stay-at-home-dad.
