chip dip recipe

anyone have a good one?  I'm not really a chip eater, but need to bring a chip/dip deal to a get-together.  I'd really rather make something than just buy one.

    chip dips are so easy to make.  They ususally have sourcream and mayo and or cream cheese in them.  just google chip dip and you will find tons.

    Seven layer dip? Umm... refried beans, olives, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes and... two other things :o)

    One pkg of Knorr veggie soup and one 16 oz container of sour cream. Chill for about an hour. Voila!?

    i'm famous for my taco dip!  kinda of like kitten 7 layer or should i say 5 Wink

    mix refried beans with a little taco seasoning and spread on the bottom of your dish then add some more taco seasoning to sour cream make that your next layer top with mexican shredded cheese and chopped green onions, olives, tomatoes whatever you like.  you can also layer in some guacamole and/or taco meat serve with chips it's so good

     another easy one

    put cream cheese and the bottom on a dish pour on some canned chili and throw some shredded cheese on it and bake on 350 till the cheese melts

    for tortilla chips: 1 can hormel chili no beans to 1 pkg cream cheese

    for potato chips: 1 container of sour cream. Mix in lowry's, celery salt, onion salt and garlic salt to taste.
