Too similar?

One of the boy names that I have liked for years is Brennon. However, my cousin named his son Brenden. Are the names too similar to use? Right now we live 12 hours apart, but we are trying to move closer to home since we are having our first baby.

    If it's a cousin you hardly see or aren't that close to, I wouldn't worry. If it's someone you're close with, I most likely would not.

    I don't think it's too close to use, but if it were me I'd personally prefer to pick a name that was less likely to be confused with a cousin (we ruled out some names for this very reason).

    I think it's fine for cousins. But what's up with the funky spellings? Brendan and Brennan are correct.

    its your baby... if you love this name ...I say use it!

    Im sure they will think something about it...but I wouldnt throw it away because of a cousin.
