Miracle Blanket - should I get one?

Hi all,

My LO is just over 9 weeks and we have been swaddling him since we he was born. I use a muslin swaddling blanket, but he has been busting out of it every time now. Should I invest in a Miracle Blanket now or just try starting to put him to bed without a swaddle? I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

EDIT - does anyone know where to buy the Miracle Blanket other than online?

Re: Miracle Blanket - should I get one?

  • we double swaddle w/ aden & anais blankets.  dd gets her arms out by the time she wakes, but she still sleeps well in them.  our miracle blanket doesn't work as well for her, she gets her arms out way faster.

  • Get the miracle blanket. We got it and it worked wonders. It wasn't until DS was about 4 months that he was able to break out and then we decided to go without and he was ready for it thank goodness. Well worth the money.

  • My LO hates anything that constricts his arms, even the Miracle blanket.  :(

  • Everyone recommended it to me on here.  I purchased one from Amazon and even had it over nighted.  To me, it was just another baby gimmick.  Did not work at all for DS.  Other wraps, that were much cheaper, work better on him.  I say save your money and when you swaddle him at nighttime, just try to do it really tight and with his arms at his side.  GL!
