? if you have Tax free weekend in your state

When is it?  I thought it was generally earlier in the month of August but Texas isn't until August 20-22.  I was looking forward to shopping but that weekend is crazy for us. 

ETA:  our public school starts 8/23

    Wow...never heard of that...but it would be great to have one!  Obviously MI does not have one.

    Ours in Florida is August 13th-15th. Alachua county starts back August 23rd but down in South Florida, Palm Beach county starts back on the 17th. Most likely it's on the weekend before any county in the state starts back.

    In NY it was usually around Labor Day.  I doubt it will happen this year.
