BRU exchange policy

I know BRU's return policy but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with exchanging things.  Like for example, exchanging a specific changing pad for the exact same one just in a different color.  Are they equally as strict with stuff like that?

    I think my BRU is pretty lenient. ?I returned some registry items without a receipt and had no problem getting merchandise credit. ?I also traded my Bundle Me (also on my registry) for a different color and it was no big deal at all.?

    i'd certainly try it out!
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     I would try it, but the BRU's I frequent are pretty Nazi-like w/ requiring a receipt.

    I constantly hear about issues on this board with BRU returns / exchanges.  I personally have never had an issue, even without a receipt.  When I don't have a receipt the cashier will take some info from my ID and issue me store credit.  Good luck, I wouldn't think their would be any problem.

    I exchanged an open box pnp (the deco) and got the bermuda one and they gave me no problems. I got a gift card with the price difference. I had a gift receipt though.
