So this morning I got slapped in the worst way by morning sickness, and it lasted all day. All I could do was lay on the couch in the dark room and try desperately to keep water down.
My poor neglected DD played quietly by herself a lot of the time, and when she did want my attention, she picked up a bunch of her books, climbed up onto the couch, and snuggled next to me for storytime. She was an absolute angel. It's like she understood that I was having a rough day and couldn't do much.
My DH, on the other hand, came home fom work and after I told him of my day near the toilet, is sulking because he is frisky and can't understand why I won't give it up.
How does a 19 month old BABY "get it" better than a grown MAN?
Re: Men versus Babies.
That is sooo sweet of your dd. Such an angel!
and I don't know what it is with DHs, but they need to be pg for a while.

Awww ;-) Can your little girl come teach mine this patience? She definitely has not slowed down a bit even when I'm dry heaving a little while trying to play with her.
Sorry about the "morning" sickness. I know I can't wait to be out of first tri and hopefully not feel sick all the time.
