Re: Taking the twins on a plane for the 1st time
Good luck! We just flew with our girls for the first time the past two weekends and I won't lie, it was tough. Granted we had 4.5 hour flights so there was a lot of time we had to kill. Take some toys/books/stickers and a portable DVD player if you have one. Pack some favorite snacks too and buy milk after you're through security. Get more milk than you think you'll need because planes don't always have it. My DDs went through about 3 containers a piece on the way back.
Oh yeah, don't be surprised if the planes don't have changing tables. If you need to change a diaper on the flight, be creative. :-) I wound up changing DDs on the floor in the hallway between two bathrooms. It's also good to have a change a clothes for each kid. I put them each in a ziploc bag because I figured if we needed to change clothes, the old clothes would need to be contained somehow. :-) One thing that seemed to occupy my DDs the best was transferring ice from one cup to another. However, that necessitated a change of clothes since they got pretty wet doing it. It was well worth it though!
