I take pictures monthly and keep them organized on my computer in folders labeled like that. I also print a few of my favorites each month and put them into 2 albums.. one for me and one for my IL's
I tried doing the monthly growth pictures, but I quit at 6mos due to the fact that I almost never remember. Makes me kinda sad, but I take so many pictures of it so once I get them all into a photo album, the growth pictures will be a mute point.
I have a good friend who is a professional photog, she does a monthly photo shoot of Adeline. I have a few photo albums that I have kept organized but I need to get some more pictures ordered. I haven't worked on it since she was 5 months old

I keep them all in photo albums. I started a photo album when DH and I started dating and have kept them ever since. It's neat to look back b/c the albums are almost like a journal of our lives.
I am doing quarterly shutterfly photo books for her first year. (Birth - 3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12) Then I'll do my best to continue doing photobooks yearly. I've been keeping up with this better than writing in her baby book. I also record milestone events in the photo books.
All of our digital pictures are also uploaded to flickr for storage along with a backup hard drive at home. We have them stored by month right now.
I have a private blog set up that's written to Sabrina... it's like a Baby book, I guess (dont' have one of those so not sure). I write in there whenever and post pictures. After a year, I plan to turn it into a book using blurb.com. I made my wedding album through them and it turned out great. I'm very excited to see how the blog to book thing goes.

I use Picasa which is extremely helpful in keeping pictures organized - I have them in folders by the month.
Then I upload them to my Picasa Web Album to share with family/friends.
I have been printing out my favorites by month and making a scrapbook.
I also have the traditional baby book and I am keeping that for him as well.
