Just looking for some success stories. I thought we were moving onto injectibles, but I was wrong. I start femara tonight, and we are doing our very first IUI this month!!!!!!!! Anyways, keeping my fingers and toes crossed this is our lucky month!!!


Dx: PCOS, Anovulation, RPL
Born via emergency c/s February 9, 2008 - 9lbs, 3 oz!!!!

TTC# 2 since February 2010 - BFP #1 Sept 2010-(5mg Femara, 1500mg Met, Ovridel) Missed M/C at 10w2d, discovered at 13w2d, D&C at 14w

BFP # 2 - February 2011-(1500mg Met, HCG Injection) Missed M/C at 10w1d, discovered at 10w3d, D&C at 11w...RPL testing came back all normal.

Trying again. June 2011 - Clomid/1500 mg Met / Baby Aspirin - BFFN!

July 2011 Femara/1500mg Met/ Baby Aspirin - c/p

August 2011 - Femara/1500mg Met/ Baby Aspirin - c/p

September 2011 - Puregon/ 1500mg Met/ Baby Aspirin - BFFN!!!!

    My daughter in my siggy was conceived on Femara.  I think it's a great step before injectibles for many women...fingers crossed for you that it does the trick! :)

    Femara with inj and Met gave me my miracles. :) (my body was a hopeless mess).

    TTC since 7/06, found out about PCOS on 8/31/06 Dec.2007~ Metformin 1500mg, prenatals, Femara 2.5mg)(cd3-7), Gonal F 100iu(cd5-?) and Ovidrel with TI. DH~ antibiotics to improve motility (cd1-10)

    DD on the way is a Femara baby!! The following month was going to be IUI but I got pregnant with my 3rd month on Femara (I found that I needed a higher dose to release a good egg than I did on Clomid)

    I am 20 weeks PG with a little girl from Femera and Metformin / Trigger and IUI.  3rd cycle worked for us.  Best of luck, I will be thinking about you!

    I had success with femara and our first IUI. I had 2 good sized follicles at ovulation.
