Would this be weird?

If you read about my issue with the parks department guy talking me out of reserving the date I wanted and then giving it to someone else when I had called back to tell him I wanted it anyway, then you'll understand the background on why I'm considering doing this. Anyway, Ava's birthday is August 27th and we usually have it the following weekend, but it seems like I have better options for park shelters if I go with the weekend of 9/12. Would it be weird to have her party that far out? We would still take her out on the day of her birthday, have cake, give her our presents, etc. but have the big party later. Another bonus is that the weather may be nicer halfway through September, and that I'd have more time to plan (which I haven't been in the mood to do at all since I've not been feeling well the past few weeks).

No, that would be fine. We (and all of our friends from Mike's work) have to plan birthday parties around when the guys are off work, which is not always the weekends surrounding the actual birthday. No one ever bats an eyelash.
