We are gearing up for a FET in September. We have 3 snowbabies and plan on putting in 2 as long as they make the thaw. How many did you transfer and what grade were they? What were your results?
I am just curious. I know the success rates are lower and after 4 IVF's to get my son, I am not very optimistic...more of a revere psych thing. However when I got pregnant with Luke we put in a 7 cell grade A and 6 cell grade A and we have a 7,6 and 6 all grade A frozen. I want it to work so bad but I don't wanna get my hopes up. Thanks for indulging me!
Re: FET ladies
Our Blog
We did 2 FET rounds back to back. Single transfers both times. First transfer was a 6-day AA. BFN
Second transfer was a 6-day BA. BFP.
So the lower quality embie is my growing monkey right now. You just never know, and it really only takes one.

My first FET in May, I transferred 2 blasts... grades 5AA and 6AA(hatched). I got a BFP but had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. I just had my 2nd FET yesterday and am in the waiting game. This time I transferred a 5AB and a 6AA(also hatched). Waiting to see.....
Best of luck to you!
With the first clinic we went to, after our fresh cycle we had 14 frozen at day 3, they were 6, 7, and 8 cell, grade A, B and C (not sure how many of each) on 9/29/06.
We moved and at the new clinic, the RE decided to defrost all 14 and transfered the 2 best survivors, and culture the remaining to 5 day to freeze again. This resulted in our twins (fraternal) I am not sure of the quality of the embryos but .the doc did say they both had minor fragmenting but looked good
the initial thaw resulted in the loss of 8 snowbabies, 2 were transfered and 4 were cultured to blast and frozen,(and adopted out to another family)
That is amazing! Congrats to you! And GL! Your story and history are truly inspiring!
