He's such a big boy!

JD has been having some digestive problems recently so we went to the doctor yesterday. Doctor sent us to the lab for some blood work... thinks JD might have Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

I was kind of nervous about the blood draw and apologized to the nurses in advance for any kicking that may occur. I sat in the chair with JD and hugged him tight, pinning down his right arm. One nurse held his left arm still and the other nurse drew the blood. He didn't scream or cry. He didn't flinch. He didn't even tense up! He just sat there and watched... I was amazed and the nurses said he was by far the easiest blood draw they've ever done on a kid! I was such a proud mama leaving the lab!

Now, let's just hope that the results come back negative. I've been doing some reading and it sounds like IBD is no fun and will never go away!
