1st B-day Gift Ideas

Ladies, I need your help!  Family keeps asking me what to get Stella for her 1st b-day and I have no freakin' idea.  We got her a Radio Flyer wagon.  Now I'm all tapped out for ideas. 

What did your LO get for their 1st b-day?  What was a huge hit?  I can only seem to come up with books since she's really into them right now.  I need some other ideas.  TIA!

    my ILs got her a cozy coupe, it is a huge hit!!  we have to hide it from her.

    Claire's whole zoo themed party went out the window because we got two feet of snow that day, but we asked that guests bring no gifts but if they wanted to they could bring a donation for the local zoo.  She really didn't NEED anything.

    I added a little note from Claire in each envelope stating that a donation to the zoo would be like a gift for them all since all of the kids coming were local and enjoy going to the zoo.  Also, Christmas had just passed, so I think everyone was a bit more understanding that she didn't need more gifts.  Plus, she's ONE.

    I vote books and clothes (18m+) if they have to get her something. You'll use them :)

    Also, pool noodles. Not for swimming -- for fun. You'll love them.

    Besides that, blocks, DUPLO legos and a swing have been a huge hit in our house. We use the swing even on rainy days by connecting it to our open stair-case. It was a life-saver when hand-foot&mouth invaded. I couldn't take him out because he was contagious and it was one of the few things that brought him joy.

    Miles got a little car, a wagon, a ball popper thing (he still plays with it), a little zebra that you bounce up and down on that lights up and makes noise.  Tell them clothes or toys.  Miles still plays with ALL of his toys he's been given since his first birthday...so it's not like things won't get used.
