What is DS going to be for Halloween?

    Ry was a dinosaur last year. We are thinking of all dressing up this year. We haven't decided what theme yet. I'm thinking Shrek or Mario Bros. Check out halloweenexpress.com for some ideas.

    DS (he's 4) has informed me that he is going to be Batman for Halloween :)  It's great when they are old enough to choose, last year he was Spiderman, I am sensing a super hero theme here!

    Emmalee is going to be a Lion. I am President of my Lions Club this year so I thought it would be cute. I may dress as a Lion Tamer for pictures too.

    After Halloween last year I bought him a cute furry monkey suit (w/ stuffed banana!) from Target for $10. DS is 13 months and wearing 18 month clothing and the costume is a 2T size. So, I'm hoping that it fits and that it's not 80 degrees that nigh (which is entirely possible where we live.)
    I'm not crazy, I've just been a very bad mood for the last 40 years!

    I love Samhain so I'm always planning early!  Last year DD had 2 costumes (day and night) she was a little cat witch and a butterfly.  This year, I'm not sure but I probably will go with either Tinkerbell or Minnie mouse, two things she really seems to like.  I guess we'll see, still looking for more ideas.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!  I bought a turtle costume at a swapmeet and then I'm going to add the headpiece and knee/elbow pads.  We are always calling DS a turtle when he's on his back because he strains like he can't roll over or get up without us, still, lol.
