Hi ladies - thought I would share the update I just posted on PAIF....
Never in a million years did I think we'd make it this far. At 22 wks when I was starting to dilate & efface and baby a's sac was bulging through, I thought for sure we were losing them. After all the years of heartache & loss, to make it to that point with two healthy babies, and then lose them was beyond comprehension. But with an amazing perinatologist, an emergency cerclage, and more prayers than we could have asked for, here we are....at 35 weeks, with two 5lb babies. It's nothing short of a miracle in my eyes.
We're seeing the peri & OB weekly now, and things are looking great. My OB did an internal on Monday and said my cerclage is still holding strong with no signs of dilation. Baby A's head is verrrry low, though, and is at a -1 station. Since both babies are head down and have been, I think we're going to try for a vaginal delivery. I'll have the cerclage removed at 36wks, if I don't go into labor before then, and we'll see what happens! I also thought I'd never be one to say I was ready to NOT be pregnant, but we all know how that goes
Not sleeping, can't eat much, heartburn in the middle of the night, sciatic nerve pain, etc......and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.
I haven't posted a belly pic in months, so here I am today w/ my two honeydew melons (according to babycenter.com's food analogy of the week) ![]()

Awesome job! Your post made me tear up... Maybe b/c I am carrying twins, I don't know, but I am so happy for you.
By the way, you look awesome! I might be a little (or a lot!) jealous.
