Momma is coming next month

As much as my mom frustrates me, it upsets me more that she is not here to see Emmalee growing up and learning so many new things. When I was E's age I only had 1 grandmother and we lived with her. When I was 5, my parents were married and I now had 2 grandmothers. I was lucky enough that 1 lived down the street and the other was just a few hours away so I saw them both very frequently. I hate it that while my mom is just a few hours away, it takes 2 plane rides and at least $500 for her to be here.

Anyway, her birthday is Aug 24th, so she is coming for 5 days to celebrate her birthday and too see us. As frustrating as she is as my momma, she is an awesome granny to Emmalee. I can't wait for her to see Emmalee walking, dancing, talking, and just being a cutie.

    That's great! I'm happy she is getting to visit. My folks live on the E. Coast and really hate to fly. It is very frustrating. I can't visit them all the time. We skype but it's just not the same.
