Today's Oprah - Freegans

I rarely watch Oprah, but it was on while I was at the gym today and looked interesting.  I guess it was a repeat from February 2008 on freegans - a movement against consumerism.  Has anyone seen this?  I have this burning desire to go through the dumpster at our grocery store tonight!  ;-)

    Yup, I saw it when it aired originally. I love the concept...but i haven't explored it.

    Just watched it. I'm very inspired. I still don't take  advantage of the library, that is a great idea right there. 

    ETA: Ok, I had only watched the first part, and not the part about picking through the garbage. It's crazy.

    I got our office chair from a dumpster. DH was totally embarresed, but it was a perfectly good chair! We still use it 6 years later and I'm still proud of it.
